Ingredients
Scale
Meats and Cheeses
- 10 oz. variety package of salami (peppered and felino salami recommended)
- 4 oz. round of brie cheese
- 4 oz. package of cheese twists
Fruits and Vegetables
- 8 oz. sugar snap peas
- 1 lb. red seedless grapes
- 12 oz. blackberries
- 1 oz. jar green olives (or mixed olives)
Snacks and Nuts
- 5 oz. rosemary and sea salt “fancy” almonds
- 8 oz. package of crackers (date and seed specialty crackers recommended)
Garnish
- Fresh herb sprigs (rosemary, lavender, basil, or oregano)
Instructions
- Prepare Ingredients: Open the packaging for all of your charcuterie components so that they are easily accessible while building your charcuterie cups.
- Set Up Cups: Spread out your short plastic cups. These work well to hold plenty of goodies and also look impressive.
- Add Almonds: Fill the bottom of each cup with a few almonds. They add a nice dry base that helps weight down the cups and supports the other components.
- Insert Tall Components: Add the cheese twists to the back of each cup to create height and frame the arrangement. Add crackers to the cups as well.
- Make Salami Picks: Fold pieces of salami into fourths and thread 4–5 pieces onto a food pick. Tuck these salami picks into each charcuterie cup.
- Make Cheese and Fruit Picks: Cut the brie into eight wedges. Thread a wedge of brie along with some berries or grapes onto a pick. Add these picks to the cups.
- Make Olive Picks: Thread olives onto picks and insert them into the cups.
- Add Herb Garnish: Place an herb sprig, such as rosemary, lavender, basil, or oregano, toward the back of each cup for a fresh and decorative touch.
- Fill Remaining Space: Fill any empty space in the cups with more grapes, berries, and nuts to complete the look and add variety.
Notes
- Use short plastic cups for easy serving and presentation.
- Folding salami quarters makes them easier to pick up and eat.
- Choosing a variety of olives and herbs enhances flavor and visual appeal.
- These cups can be assembled in advance and kept refrigerated until serving.
- Adjust fruit and nut quantities based on preferences or seasonal availability.
