Bread Bowls:

  • 2 large sourdough bread bowls or round bread loaves

Chicken Alfredo Filling:

  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 4 cloves garlic (minced)
  • 2 cups cooked chicken breast (shredded or diced)
  • 1½ cups heavy cream
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • ½ cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ¼ teaspoon black pepper
  • ½ teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley (optional)
  • Extra Parmesan for garnish


Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven: Preheat the oven to 375°F.
  2. Prepare the bread bowls: Cut off the tops of the bread bowls and scoop out the insides to create space for the filling.
  3. Make the Alfredo sauce: Heat olive oil and butter, sauté garlic, add cream, cheeses, salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning. Stir in cooked chicken.
  4. Fill the bread bowls: Fill each bread bowl with the creamy chicken Alfredo mixture.
  5. Bake: Bake for 10 to 12 minutes until golden and bubbly.
  6. Serve: Sprinkle with parsley and extra Parmesan before serving.
