Cornstarch Coating:

  • ½ cup cornstarch

Sauce:

  • 1 cup Fireball Cinnamon Whisky
  • ½ cup brown sugar
  • ½ cup ketchup
  • 2 tablespoons apple cider vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • ½ teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes
  • ½ teaspoon salt

Other:

  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • Chopped green onions and sesame seeds for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Coat Chicken: Toss chicken pieces with cornstarch until evenly coated.
  2. Cook Chicken: Cook coated chicken in vegetable oil until golden brown and cooked through.
  3. Prepare Sauce: Whisk together Fireball whisky, brown sugar, ketchup, vinegar, soy sauce, garlic powder, red pepper flakes, and salt.
