Scale
Fry Sauce Ingredients
- 1 cup mayonnaise
- 1/2 cup ketchup
- 2 tablespoons pickle juice from bread & butter pickles
- 2 teaspoons Worcestershire sauce
- 1/2 teaspoon paprika (smoked or regular)
- 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
- 1 pinch cayenne pepper
- Salt & pepper to taste
Instructions
- Combine Ingredients: Add all ingredients to a medium-sized bowl and whisk or stir together thoroughly until the mixture is smooth and well combined.
- Adjust Flavor: Taste the sauce and adjust seasoning as desired by adding more salt, pepper, or spices. Letting the sauce rest helps the flavors meld, but it can be served immediately.
- Store Properly: Transfer the sauce to an airtight container and refrigerate. It can be stored in the fridge for up to one week.
Notes
- This sauce tastes best after resting for at least 30 minutes to allow flavors to meld.
- Use pickle juice from bread & butter pickles for a sweeter tang; dill pickle juice can be substituted for a sharper flavor.
- Adjust cayenne pepper depending on your desired spice level.
- Perfect as a dip for fries, burgers, chicken tenders, or as a spread for sandwiches.
- Keep refrigerated and consume within one week for best freshness and safety.
