Description

A creamy and tangy fry sauce perfect for dipping fries, burgers, and more. This easy-to-make sauce combines mayo, ketchup, and tangy pickle juice with flavorful spices to create a versatile condiment that enhances your favorite fried foods.

Ingredients

Scale

Fry Sauce Ingredients

  • 1 cup mayonnaise
  • 1/2 cup ketchup
  • 2 tablespoons pickle juice from bread & butter pickles
  • 2 teaspoons Worcestershire sauce
  • 1/2 teaspoon paprika (smoked or regular)
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 pinch cayenne pepper
  • Salt & pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Combine Ingredients: Add all ingredients to a medium-sized bowl and whisk or stir together thoroughly until the mixture is smooth and well combined.
  2. Adjust Flavor: Taste the sauce and adjust seasoning as desired by adding more salt, pepper, or spices. Letting the sauce rest helps the flavors meld, but it can be served immediately.
  3. Store Properly: Transfer the sauce to an airtight container and refrigerate. It can be stored in the fridge for up to one week.

Notes

  • This sauce tastes best after resting for at least 30 minutes to allow flavors to meld.
  • Use pickle juice from bread & butter pickles for a sweeter tang; dill pickle juice can be substituted for a sharper flavor.
  • Adjust cayenne pepper depending on your desired spice level.
  • Perfect as a dip for fries, burgers, chicken tenders, or as a spread for sandwiches.
  • Keep refrigerated and consume within one week for best freshness and safety.
