For the Beefaroni:

- 1 pound ground beef
- 1 small yellow onion, diced
- 2 garlic cloves, minced
- 1 teaspoon salt
- ½ teaspoon black pepper
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- 1 tablespoon tomato paste
- 2 cups beef broth
- 1 (15-ounce) can tomato sauce
- 1 (15-ounce) can diced tomatoes
- 2 cups uncooked elbow macaroni
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
Instructions
- Heat olive oil: In a large skillet or Dutch oven over medium heat.
- Cook beef: Brown ground beef, breaking it apart with a spoon. Drain excess fat if needed.
- Add onion: Cook until soft, about 3–4 minutes.
- Season: Stir in garlic, salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning. Cook until fragrant.
- Tomato paste: Stir in and cook for 1 minute.
- Add liquids: Pour in beef broth, tomato sauce, and diced tomatoes. Bring to a simmer.
