- 1/2 teaspoon bubble gum flavoring
- Food coloring (optional)
For Dusting:
- Cornstarch or powdered sugar
Instructions
- Melt the Gum Base: In a double boiler, melt the gum base until fully liquefied.
- Combine Ingredients: Stir in corn syrup, glycerin, citric acid, and bubble gum flavoring until well combined. Add food coloring if desired.
- Add Powdered Sugar: Remove from heat and gradually knead in powdered sugar until a dough-like consistency forms.
- Knead and Shape: Dust hands and work surface with powdered sugar, knead the gum until smooth. Shape into small logs or balls.
- Rest and Store: Let the gum rest for at least 30 minutes before chewing. Store wrapped in wax paper in an airtight container.
