Description

Treat your furry friend to a delicious homemade dog ice cream with this easy recipe. Made with dog-safe ingredients, this frozen treat will have your pup begging for more!

Ingredients

Scale

Banana Mixture:

  • 2 ripe bananas, peeled and mashed

Additional Ingredients:

  • 1 cup plain Greek yogurt (unsweetened and unflavored)
  • 1/2 cup natural peanut butter (xylitol-free)
  • 1 tablespoon honey (optional)
  • 1/4 cup water

Instructions

  1. Mash the Bananas: In a medium bowl, mash the bananas until smooth.
  2. Combine Ingredients: Add the Greek yogurt, peanut butter, honey (if using), and water. Stir until well combined and creamy.
  3. Freeze: Pour the mixture into silicone molds, an ice cube tray, or small freezer-safe containers. Freeze for at least 4 hours or until fully solid.
  4. Serve: Pop out individual servings and let them soften slightly before giving to your dog. Store any remaining ice cream in the freezer for up to 2 months.

Notes

  • Always use xylitol-free peanut butter, as xylitol is toxic to dogs.
  • You can substitute the banana with pumpkin purée or blueberries for variety.
  • Avoid sweetened yogurt or artificial sweeteners.
