- 8 ounces Sliced Ham
- 4 ounces Sliced Salami
- 4 ounces Sliced Pepperoni
Cheese
- 8 ounces Sliced Provolone Cheese
- 1/2 cup Grated Parmesan Cheese

- 1 cup Banana Pepper Rings
- 1 cup Roasted Red Peppers
- 1/2 cup Olives
- 1 cup Mushrooms (sautéed)
Seasoning
- 1 tablespoon Italian Seasoning
- 1 teaspoon Red Pepper Flakes
Instructions
- Preheat Oven: Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) to ensure it is ready for baking your sandwich bake.
- Prepare Mushrooms: Sauté the mushrooms in a skillet over medium heat until they release their moisture and become tender. Set aside to cool.
- Layer Crescent Rolls: Unroll one can of crescent roll dough and press it into the bottom of a greased 9×13-inch baking dish, sealing the perforations to create a solid base.
- Add Meat and Cheese Layers: Layer the ham, salami, pepperoni, and provolone cheese evenly over the dough base in the baking dish.
- Add Vegetables and Seasoning: Evenly distribute the sautéed mushrooms, banana pepper rings, roasted red peppers, olives, Italian seasoning, and red pepper flakes over the meat and cheese layer.
- Top with Second Dough Layer: Unroll the second can of crescent roll dough and lay it over the fillings, pressing the edges to seal.
- Brush with Olive Oil and Sprinkle Parmesan: Brush the top layer of crescent dough with olive oil to enhance browning and sprinkle the grated Parmesan cheese uniformly over the top.
- Bake: Bake in the preheated oven for 25 minutes, or until the crescent roll crust is golden brown and fully cooked through.
- Cool and Serve: Allow the sandwich bake to cool for 5-10 minutes before slicing into 6 large slices. Serve warm and enjoy!
Notes
- You can substitute turkey for the ham to lighten the dish.
- Mozzarella or cheddar cheese can be used instead of provolone for different cheese profiles.
- For a vegetarian version, omit all meats and increase the vegetable quantities.
- Sautéing mushrooms beforehand prevents excess moisture in the bake.
- Use fresh basil or oregano instead of Italian seasoning for a fresher herb flavor.
- Adjust the amount of red pepper flakes based on your spice preference.
