Ingredients
Scale
Chicken
- 4 boneless skinless chicken breasts
Marinade
- 1/4 cup olive oil
- 3 tablespoons soy sauce
- 2 tablespoons lemon juice
- 2 tablespoons honey
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon dried oregano
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
Garnish
- Fresh parsley, chopped
Instructions
- Prepare the marinade: In a medium bowl, whisk together olive oil, soy sauce, lemon juice, honey, minced garlic, oregano, paprika, salt, and black pepper until well combined.
- Marinate the chicken: Place the chicken breasts in a large resealable bag or shallow dish. Pour the marinade over the chicken, ensuring all pieces are coated. Seal or cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes, preferably 2–4 hours for best flavor.
- Preheat the grill: Heat the grill to medium-high heat and lightly oil the grates to prevent sticking.
- Grill the chicken: Remove the chicken from the marinade, allowing excess to drip off. Grill the chicken for 6–7 minutes on each side, or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C).
- Rest and garnish: Transfer the cooked chicken to a plate and let it rest for 5 minutes. Garnish with chopped fresh parsley before serving.
Notes
- This marinade also works well with chicken thighs or drumsticks.
- For extra flavor, reserve a few tablespoons of the marinade before adding the raw chicken and use it as a basting sauce while grilling.
- Serve with rice, grilled vegetables, or a fresh salad for a complete meal.
