Ingredients
Scale
Beef Mixture
- 1 lb lean ground beef
- ½ cup chopped green peppers
- ½ cup diced onions
- 1 packet taco seasoning mix
Cheese Mixture
- 1 cup nacho cheese sauce
- 1 can (10 oz) Rotel (diced tomatoes with green chilies)
Wrap and Toppings
- 4 large flour tortillas
- ½ cup sour cream
- 1 cup crushed Nacho Cheese Doritos
- Shredded lettuce (optional, for serving)
Instructions
- Brown the beef: In a skillet over medium heat, cook the lean ground beef until fully browned. Drain off any excess fat to keep the wrap from being greasy.
- Sauté vegetables: Add the chopped green peppers and diced onions to the skillet with the beef. Cook and stir for about 4 minutes until the vegetables soften.
- Season the beef: Mix in the taco seasoning packet and cook for another 2 minutes, stirring well to evenly coat the meat mixture with spices.
- Prepare cheese sauce: In a separate bowl, combine the Rotel diced tomatoes with green chilies and the nacho cheese sauce until fully blended.
- Assemble tortillas: Lay out each flour tortilla and spread a generous layer of the nacho cheese and Rotel mixture down the center of each one.
- Add fillings: Spoon the seasoned beef mixture on top of the cheese layer. Add a dollop of sour cream and sprinkle crushed Nacho Cheese Doritos evenly over the beef.
- Wrap the tortilla: Fold in the sides of the tortilla and roll it tightly from one end to the other, securing all fillings inside like a burrito.
- Toast the wrap: Heat a clean skillet over medium heat. Place each wrap seam-side down in the skillet and cook for 2-3 minutes on each side until golden brown and slightly crispy.
- Serve: Serve the nacho cheese beef wraps warm, optionally garnished with shredded lettuce and any additional toppings you prefer.
Notes
- Drain excess fat after cooking the beef to avoid soggy wraps.
- For added heat, add jalapeños or hot sauce to the cheese mixture.
- Use whole wheat tortillas for a healthier variation.
- Wraps can be made ahead and reheated in a skillet or microwave.
