For the Burger Patties:
- 1 pound ground beef
- 1/2 cup pizza sauce
- 1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1/4 cup chopped pepperoni
- 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/4 teaspoon dried oregano
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
For Serving:
- 4 hamburger buns
- 1 tablespoon olive oil (for toasting buns)
- Optional toppings: sliced black olives, bell peppers, or extra cheese
Instructions
- Prepare the Burger Patties: In a large bowl, combine the ground beef, pizza sauce, mozzarella, Parmesan, chopped pepperoni, garlic powder, oregano, salt, and black pepper. Shape into four patties.
- Cook the Burgers: Preheat a grill or skillet over medium heat. Cook the patties for 4-5 minutes per side until fully cooked.
- Toast the Buns: Brush the insides of the buns with olive oil and toast until golden.
- Assemble: Place each patty on a toasted bun, add optional toppings, and serve warm.
Notes
- You can use ground turkey or chicken instead of beef.
- For a vegetarian option, use plant-based ground and omit the pepperoni.
