Description

Tender and flavorful slow cooker steak bites infused with a savory soy-based sauce, perfect for an easy and hearty meal. This recipe features bite-sized sirloin steak pieces slow-cooked to fork-tender perfection and garnished with fresh parsley.

Ingredients

Scale

Beef

  • 1 lb sirloin steak, cut into bite-sized pieces
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil

Sauce

  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 2 teaspoons garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon smoked paprika

Optional Garnish

  • 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped

Instructions

  1. Sear the Steak (Optional but Recommended): Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Sear the steak bites in batches for 2–3 minutes until browned on all sides. This step helps lock in the flavor and texture. Transfer the browned steak pieces to the slow cooker.
  2. Mix the Sauce: In a small bowl, whisk together soy sauce, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper until well combined.
  3. Slow Cook: Pour the sauce over the steak bites in the slow cooker. Stir to coat the meat evenly. Cover and cook on low heat for 3 to 4 hours until the steak bites are tender and easily pierced with a fork.
  4. Garnish and Serve: Once cooked, sprinkle chopped fresh parsley over the steak bites. Serve them hot over mashed potatoes, rice, or your favorite low-carb vegetable for a complete meal.

Notes

  • Searing the steak is optional but recommended for enhanced flavor and texture.
  • For a spicier version, add a pinch of cayenne pepper or red pepper flakes to the sauce.
  • Use a meat thermometer to ensure the steak bites reach a safe internal temperature of at least 145°F (63°C) if cooking time is adjusted.
  • These steak bites can be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
  • Reheat gently in the microwave or on the stovetop to prevent overcooking.
