Instructions
- Preheat and Prepare: Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and line baking sheets with parchment paper.
- Mix Dry Ingredients: In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, baking powder, and salt.
- Cream Butter and Sugar: In a large bowl, cream the butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
- Add Wet Ingredients: Beat in the egg, vanilla extract, and almond extract. Mix in the milk and green food coloring until evenly blended.
- Combine and Scoop: Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture and mix until just combined. Scoop tablespoon-sized portions of dough, roll into balls, and place on baking sheets.
- Flatten and Decorate: Flatten the dough slightly with a glass and decorate with sprinkles.
- Bake: Bake for 8 to 10 minutes until edges are set but centers are still soft.
- Cool and Enjoy: Allow cookies to cool on the baking sheet before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
