- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
For Assembly:
- 1 (15-ounce) can refried beans
- 1/2 cup tomato sauce
- 4 large flour tortillas (burrito-size)
- 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 (10-ounce) can red enchilada sauce
- 1/4 cup chopped fresh cilantro (optional)
- sour cream, diced tomatoes, and sliced green onions for garnish
Instructions
- Prepare the Beef Filling: Heat olive oil in a skillet, cook beef until browned. Add onion, garlic, spices, then mix in beans and tomato sauce.
- Assemble the Burritos: Warm tortillas, fill with beef mixture and cheese, roll into burritos. Place seam-side down in a baking dish.
- Bake: Pour enchilada sauce over burritos, top with cheese, bake until bubbly.
- Serve: Garnish with cilantro, sour cream, tomatoes, and green onions. Serve hot.

- You can substitute the ground beef with ground turkey or shredded rotisserie chicken.
